We started out our year in our new home here in Ohio. After a brief interaction with a young couple, they gave us an offer on our first home we couldn’t refuse. It was such a God moment, we felt his presence the whole way through. We set up camp at my uncles for a few months and Pendleton popped up. We didn’t even make it upstairs and knew it was ours. As we close out on the wild ride of 2020 – we want to focus on the things we are most thankful for… each other.
Our sweet Sami. She is in 2nd grade and full of creative ideas and all the best hugs. She is our dancer, our creative engineer, turtle mom, and the most wonderful friend anyone could ask for. We often find her quietly creating magic out of recycled paper towel rolls and tin foil. It’s hard not to love our Sami girl. We think some day she’s going to work for NASA.
Our Saylor babe. She is in 3rd grade and full of life, energy, and the most helpful hands. She has a servant heart and a huge passion for animals. Saylor also started basketball this year. When she’s not snuggling her bunny, you can find her riding her bike, bouncing on the trampoline, and sometimes off the walls. She has the brightest smile and can light up a room with her willingness to serve others.
Sam moved mountains this year and took his dream position at Green Fire. He is surrounded by great people and always eager to get to work. (Well no wonder with two kids, two dogs, a bunny, turtle, and a wife to take care of haha) Green has made Sam and our family feel extremely welcomed during this transition. He also works part time at Norton Fire.
I also took a leap of faith and closed out our event planning company after 5 years of business. Throughout that journey, I dabbled in photography but finally listened to my heart and opened our studio space and website featuring: portraits, seniors, organization, homemaking and more.
Wishing all of you comfort and love during this crazy time in our lives.
